Issues in distance education
Distance education has been growing tremendously in the United States and other parts of the world. Technology, World Wide Web has made distance learning easier and affordable. Distance learning has generated more interest in schools and colleges and universities (Jones & Wolf, 2010).Nursing students have been very active in distance education to balance their life and work and education. Distance education or online education can be synchronized or synchronized. According to a report tracking online learning over the past ten years by the Babson Survey Research Group, students registered in at least one online class is at an all-time high of 32% in 2013 and growth continues and it will take a long time to plateau.
